Ever noticed that things in life don't always make sense? Of course you have. I have too. Lately it seems the Lord is driving home a point: "Do you trust Me?"
What happens when you walk into a dark room in your home? You automatically reach for the light switch. Do you ever stop to wonder (i.e., WORRY) if the light will come on as your reaching for the switch? Most likely you never even doubt the light switch will work. You just "flip the switch" without any doubt the light will come on.
That's the way it should be for us with matters of Trusting God. When we reach our hearts out to Him, we shouldn't for one moment think twice about whether He will provide for our needs, or be our All-In-All. He has promised to meet our every need, to guide us and make our paths straight. All we have to do is TRUST HIM with all our hearts. Just as God SOOO* loved us, we can SOOO totally trust Him when we reach out to Him. *(that word "SOOO" is His reassuring HUG to us, "I SOOO love you very much, My child!")
Close your eyes, pull your arms in tightly to your chest, and as you "give yourself a reassuring hug" say to your Heavenly Father aloud, "I SOOO totally trust You, Heavenly Father! You will meet my every need!"
